I just wanted to mention our people that are without homes and some without their love ones it is a very sad tragedy today across the country our hearts goes out to all of them. It is times like this that we should thank our selves awful lucky because it could have been us just as well in those awful storms. I for one could not imagine what they are feeling. They need our heartfelt prays and help and especially our love. It is at times like this that our country needs to become united in away that we have never before. We the people need to become united in one soul purpose for our people who are in need. Written by Judith Collins

Unknown Number
When the phone rings I am in a deep slumber, who is this hamming it up on the other end of my phone? My heart drops to my sleeves, and I drop to my knees praying oh Lord please not her again. Ring again, ring again with your unknown number. Begin with saying what you want told because this is getting old. My soul is in a slumber from this unkind number so near,at the end of the line rings the truth so clear of what is behind the dial tone on the other end here. My anger starts to simmer slow and my mind gets a glimmer of what is behind this unknown number. Inside my heart I say no, until the phone grows silence and it is cold , and it is getting old . She has reappeared after all these years. When will you quit making me ill with your unkind thrills? Every time the phone rings it sends chills up and down my spine. Yes you sent him out the door and now he is mine to return to you no more. Life is filled with unknown numbers they can make you ill if we let them. So never back down walk the talk hold your head up and never seek to answer their questions behind the unknown numbers. Written by Judith Collins

Don't Cry Little Boy
Don't cry little boy some day you will be able to have all the toys in the world. Little boy try to understand when mom tells you no I can't afford it. Little boy standing on the corner selling candy and flowers to help feed their families. I know your life is hard with the seed of hunger in your eyes. People walking by hurrying on their way to their nice warm homes before the snow falls. I wonder if one time do they ever do more for you or families like yours other than talk. Sometimes we get so use to living in our comfortable homes that a little boy like you hurts because you remind us our world is not perfect. He is a symbol of all the bad and sad things that life has to offer. People of USA wake up this little boy may be in their country now,but I see little ones in our country going without shoes on their feet and clothes on their backs and some going without food on their tables.A baby crying into the night without a light to shine or heat to keep it warm. Don't cry little boy tomorrow will come and behind the close doors maybe someone will listen. Do you see the homeless becoming more everyday? All that was good and right in their world gone. All is right in your world today, hey who's to say that tomorrow we might be joining the unique crowd and become the little baby boy without any toys. Written by Judith Collins

anger
Anger it simmers inside of you without a glimmer of hope to brighten your day. The way is never clear when we are guided by the way it makes us feel. Often times we let anger take over making us feel like a heel. Sometimes we express it with cursing or a threat but you can beat in the long run of things it comes back to bit you on the back side and makes all that was good seem bad, and at times will make you sad because the one thing you could not control was your anger inside. Try love, caring and understanding instead these three words will never guide you the wrong way . If your anger gets to bad try talking and sharing with another. If we try and walk the right path and none of this works get a light pillow and punch it instead of our fellow man.

Feelings
Do you have feelings so deep that when you sleep you weep over the things you can not change? Does morning light awaken you with the same hurt , and the slight pain of what happen yesterday still lingers somewhere deep in your heart. Is life changing to fast and not in the direction you hoped it would? The words of others can not be swept away. Sometimes it is not what goes into our mouths that hurt us as much as what comes out. Feelings so deep running here and there if there was a chance I would go down South. Grown ups be careful not to let your words of hate seep into the young ones minds because after all their hurt feelings can rebound on you. Written by Judith Collins

THE ROSE
I was just sitting here thinking how much does a flower mean to someone I know people buy them on Valentine's day to say I love you. Then on Mother's Day to show their mom they love her and sometimes to say they are sorry for something they have done. So how much does a flower mean? It can mean many things to different people. The rose you see in this picture stands for love honor and respect. You see it was bought for a very special lady, The Legend's Mother. I was not bless to ever meet her. She had passed away before we met. The Legend had bought her this rose bush before she died, and afterwards the home place was put up for sell. The Legend move the rose bush to his place. For six years I have baby and love this rose. Last year was a bad season all it did was rain. Our rose did not bloom at all and I fought the battle of bugs to keep it alive. Then fall came and we had some pretty weather, it still did not bloom. Then November roll around and one morning I went out and as you can see we had one beautiful rose. The strangest thing about the time it bloom was it was the same month the family had lost their wonderful mom. I told The Legend it was a sign from her to him that she was still looking after him up in heaven. I feel love never dies and that our love ones that have gone on before are our guardian angels. I have read many articles about this and I do believe it is true. Another sign of this is finding coins were there was none. My point is if you have a wonderful flower in your life try your best to love and care for them. We are given a gift in our life and it may never come our way again. Life and love soon fades away like the rose petals on the rose so make the best of every moment because tomorrow may never come. God Bless All that read this. Here is wishing you a great day.

Spring Clean Up
I know yesterday I wrote about some of beautiful things of Spring. Well what I did not mention was all the darn work that goes with it to keep everything looking so pretty. All the yard work and planting those special flowers. Guess what I love it all. Yesterday it was warm and in the mid 70's I got out and had a spring clean up. We got a new storage building from Barn's. com and it has been so cold and bad you could not do nothing so I was busy sorting through the good and bad. All I can say that's a man if it was me I probably would have threw it all away even the good . The one thing that I hate is all that grass. I sometimes wish we had store bought grass. Then all our beautiful mountain side you see in these pictures wouldn't be the same. I love Spring Clean Up or should we just call it work. I feel this way if your going to have beauty around your home you have to pay a price for it. Now days it is hard to do that with the price of gasoline sky high and even the oil mixtures have gone up. They would soon be trying to take people's property if they can not afford to buy gas most can not afford to put it in a lawn mower when they need it for their vehicles. CONDEMNED is what I am talking about. I thank it is bad when even the working people are not in the plan no more. They are not Rich but you can bet one thing they are the ones who keep this country moving. The wheels of Justice needs to turn for them also. I think somewhere this country needs to remember what being an American is about. We have lost our roots and foundation somewhere. I also think it is a shame when it comes down to the elderly and even now if there is one the middle class and poorer having to go without medicine and some even food to keep warm through the winter. The thing that gets me is it carries through to spring and summer because their are elderly people with breathing problems they have to have air condition. I love Spring Clean Up it keeps me very busy.

My far off friend
Woodpecker pecking in the tree so high you awaken me with a soothing music to my ears. Your drilling away at the trees so near is a sure sign Spring is here and Summer is to follow. Your red and black hood shines in the sun. I wonder what fun you have away up there in the trees looking for bugs all day long. The night's twilight slowly hugs the day to follow with one stead fast promise of your beautiful music to come again tomorrow. Dear faraway distance friend for now I bid you a goodnight may tomorrow reunite us once again.

Today this blog is for all the families in WV and surrounding states and countries who has a family member in the mines. I also would like to especially send it to the ones who lost a family member one year ago . We are from a coal mining state, this is how our people raise their families, coal has help feed and educated our children. I owe my life to the mines and my wonderful parents. My father went to work in the mines at 17 and worked twenty years in the mines. I am who I am thanks to him. He die at the age of 42 . We may not be perfect but this is our way of living. WV people are mountaineers, we are a hard working and for the most a honest and open people. My love for home and our wonderful mountains has kept me were I am now. Life has become a struggle for some of our people because we mine coal. It seems to me we have been blamed for all the pollution in the world. Our coal does not only keep electricity in our homes. Coal is used for many different products. Perfume, charcoal and many other useful products. I know there is ways of doing things better, but our mines or our state is not for destroying the world. Today I say a pray to remember all the wonderful people who have gone on before to make sure our state and this country can still stand and not be out in the dark. THANK YOU.
